Terms & Conditions

1 The Contract

The printed offer letter against which a deposit is paid constitutes the contract and the whole of the contract between buyer and seller.

2 Payment

Strictly £80 per head as a deposit by cheque. Balance in full to be with the seller a full 14 days before the start of the holiday.

3 Cancellation

In the event that the buyer cancels of fails to pay the balance due within 14 days of the start of the holiday, then money already paid is not returnable.

4 Force Majeur

In the event that the seller, due to forces beyond control, has to vary or cancel the holiday, then similar walking or similar accommodation will be substituted. If appropriate, an adjustment will be made to the price.

5 Bardsey Island Crossing

No sailing time or date either to or from the Island can be guaranteed, and the Contract is no guarantee that sailings will take place on the day planned. Alternative dates will be offered or monies paid refunded. If buyers are stuck on the Island, then every effort will be made to provide food and lodging at the seller's expense, but consequential costs on the mainland are at the buyer's risk.

6 Financial Security

Your deposit and final payment will be held in a trust fund until your holiday is completed. This ensures financial security for your holiday and is to comply with the EU Package Travel Regulations 1992.

7 Insurance

We advise you to take out insurance to cover cancellation, personal accident, illness or loss of possessions. The seller cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your baggage, possessions or for illness or injury nor public liability for any holiday arranged by us. We also cannot accept responsibility for any loss or consequences resulting from circumstances beyond our control. Please make sure that your policy covers the activities to be undertaken.

8 Safety

A copy of our full Health & Safety Risk Assessment is available on request. In short, cliff and hill walking, open air activity and sea crossings are inherently hazardous. The seller will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the buyer's safety, but we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to property or death or injury whilst partaking in the Walk.

9 Fitness

It is a booking condition that the buyer and those for whom the buyer is booking are in good health and that the buyer will declare any medical condition that may adversely affect the ability to complete the Walk.

10 Complaints Procedure

If the buyer has any cause for complaint then please raise the matter immediately with the minibus driver or with the staff at the office. If the matter is not resolved then a formal complaint should be made in writing within 14 days of the end of the holiday. All written complaints will be replied to within 7 days.

11 Pets

Accommodation for dogs is very limited. Customers must inform us if dogs are expected on the walk.
